For most professionals working with children, fostered or adopted children may be a small but significant part of your work. Those professionals who work with this group of children will be aware of how traumatised these children are and how complex their needs are. Family Futures has been recognised as a centre of excellence by C4EO for its innovative and pioneering work with looked after children who are fostered or adopted. 96% of the children who come to Family Futures for treatment remain in their substitute families. Family Futures’ practice is an integrated multi-disciplinary approach that is based upon the most up-to-date neuro-psychological and medical research into the impact of trauma on child development.

Our unit cost is lower than that of a local authority service because our overheads are lower. we therefore represent value for money. We also have a proven track record of effectiveness and keeping children out of care if they are adopted or stable in their placements if they are in foster care. The cost of our treatment service has to be compared with the cost of a child in foster care or a residential placement, which can be £100,000 per year, or more.Please contact us for more information on our rates and a bespoke quote.Family Futures has a distinguished reputation in providing first class and innovative training for professionals, adoptive parents and carers.
