I would like to bring to the attention of any readers upon one of the most ghastly miscarriages of justice I have heard in years.We have of course heard of family courts and how they attack parents and children, but not so many will hear of their role in attacking the Elderly!

For John (Ernest) Coles an 84-year-old volunteer, who suffers from illiteracy due to his schooling being disrupted in childhood due to a ‘Dig for victory campaign’ to grow vegetables. His life has been turned upside down after being separated from his wife Marguerite who suffers from senile dementia
Maggie has dementia, John was caring for his Wife at home with nurses attending twice a day, SS told John Maggie Had to go into a home, SS came to his house, while he was changing his bed sheets upstairs, SS entered into his home Without permission via back door, and sat on his sofa !
Next thing Maggie is in a home
on 28th March John and Maggie Coles, will have been married 55 Years, John’s Wish is to visit his Wife on their Anniversary and take her a bouquet of her favourite roses. They were separated because John felt his wife was being neglected and later saw the mistreatment of some of the patients at that home. He complained, and the result was a court order banning him from entering the premises within 500 metres

Marguerite was given 6 months to live a few years back so as you can imagine she probably doesn’t have much time to be reunited with her husband. You can see in the latest films john has taken a nasty fall, The poor old Guy is really suffering. He’s been banned from going within 500 metres of the home.
The legal fees
The really disgraceful thing about johns treatment is the sheer costs involved in trying to see his ill wife is that he has now spent £14000 in legal costs he is hard of hearing and was unrepresented in the courts which were closed to the public. His opponents were well-trained well-financed and essentially he never had a leg to stand on. Anything could have been said and John would have been unable to defend himself with any decent argument, is this Justice?

- Pulling a shotgun on a protestor stopped from seeing his children
- Ordering a father to talk to his kids over Skype!
- Now he wants to stop an elderly couple from spending their last few years together
THE HOME
The corrupt care home who mistreat their guests are ,allegedly sanctuary Housing’ They are a very large Housing group And those in charge should be ashamed of their behaviour, I guess the old are big money these days!

Sadly this is becoming all too common , this country is no longer the caring place it once was and a lot of people in the health and caring business should not be in that field as they are uncaring individuals , with no empathy for anyone and this runs from the bottom to the top of this field. Democracy , compassion , caring , helping are fast becoming just words not actions , my heart goes out to this man and I hope someone sees sense and enables him to have contact with his wife – the poor woman probably does not realise what she has done due to her illness – and instead of using their common sense the people enforcing this are just interested in “rules”.leonc1963
Great comments Alexandra, but I think you will find it runs from the top to the bottom as you cannot fix the bottom until you have fixed those at the top and their lies the problem.

Evil…simply the worst abuse of family life I have heard of outside of the pol pot years in my native Cambodia….
